Emma was just beginning to learn how to add numbers. She loved counting everything in sight. Her mother decided to teach her. She began with simple addition problems. Emma was excited to see that by combining numbers, she could create a bigger number. As Emma's understanding of addition grew, her mother presented her with more challenging problems. With her mother's patient guidance, she slowly began to grasp the concept. As Emma's confidence grew, she started to enjoy solving addition problems on her own. She would practice by adding up the prices of items at the grocery store or counting how many blocks she could stack. Her mom was proud of her.
