Gap-fill exercise
Jeffrey was the eldest of three siblings, with
younger brothers, Timmy and Ben, who looked up
him with admiration. One sunny morning, Jeffrey woke
early to find his younger brothers staring at
broken bicycle in disappointment. The boys had been
planning a ride to the nearby park, but
bicycle's flat tire had dashed their hopes.
Jeffrey
to fix the bicycle himself. With a helpful
tutorial, he got to work. He removed the
, patched the tube, and reassembled the bicycle. Timmy
Ben watched it and were fascinated. Jeffrey finally
the repair. He handed the repaired bicycle to
younger brothers, who were overjoyed. They thanked him
bright smiles and genuine gratitude.
The three brothers
off for the park. As they pedaled through
streets, Jeffrey couldn't help but feel a warm
of pride in being able to help his
brothers. He realized that being the oldest came
responsibilities, and should be a role model for
beloved siblings.
