Lily's friend, Alex, was feeling very sick and had to stay in the hospital. Lily wanted to make Alex feel better, so she decided to write a get-well card. Lily got out some colorful paper and markers. She drew a big, bright sun with a smiley face on the front of the card. Inside, she wrote a sweet message: "Dear Alex, I heard you're not feeling well. I want you to know that I'm thinking of you and sending lots of love and good wishes your way. Get well soon! Your friend, Lily." Lily folded the card carefully and put it in an envelope. Then she asked her mom to drive her to the hospital. When Alex received the card, a big smile spread across his face. It made him feel better to know that his friend cared about him.
