David is a diligent student. His day began early with the sound of his alarm clock. After breakfast, he quickly dressed in his school uniform, and dashed out the door. His first class was history. David loved his history teacher, who is a good story-teller. Next, he hurried to his science class, where they conducted a fun experiment with colorful liquids. Then came math. David's brain worked hard to solve tricky equations. Lunch was a chance to refuel and meet with friends. The afternoon brought art class, where David painted a beautiful sunset that made the teacher smile. After school, David had soccer practice. Finally, back home, he had to finish all his homework. As the day ended, David felt tired but accomplished.
