Jason was a little boy who lived with his parents. He had always wanted a dog, but his parents thought he was too young to take care of one. One day, Jason's uncle surprised him with a little puppy. He was over the moon with excitement. He named his new friend Buddy. They would play together in the park, and go on walks. But one day, Jason fell ill and had to stay in bed for a week. During that time, Buddy refused to leave his side. He would sleep next to Jason in bed. Whenever Jason had to go to the bathroom, Buddy would follow him and wait outside the door. Jason realized Buddy was really his best friend.
